Sierra White, IMFT

Marriage and Family Therapist

Heyyyy! I’m Sierra

As a couples therapist, my goal is to assist partners in rekindling, reconstructing, and rediscovering happiness in their relationships. I pride myself In creating a supportive space where both of you can feel valued and listened to.

Outside of work, I cherish moments with my family, a GOOD podcast, chocolate ice cream and appreciating life's simple pleasures. I strongly believe that laughter and shared moments are crucial for strong relationships, a belief I bring into our sessions.

Let's start this journey together, building a relationship based on trust, love, and mutual respect.

I am excited to meet both of you and assist in guiding you back to each other!

I’ve seen many couples ranging from newly married to empty nesters, both struggling with the same thing — feeling like they are a million miles apart from the person they love. Resentment, anger, and frustration cloud your ability to see your partner clearly and remember why you chose each other in the first place! We then find ways to protect ourselves from the potential hurt or rejection from our partners. We shut down or lash out because we’ve run out of ways to say “I want to be close to you”. What else happens? Well, we end up pushing our partner away, creating even more distance and less safety.

Where I come In....

With my experience, I have seen how couples working together can positively transform their bond. Whether addressing conflicts, communication obstacles, or aiming to strengthen your connection, my aim is to support you. My practical and down-to-earth approach combines proven methods with genuine empathy.

I use concepts from both Gottman Method and Emotion Focused Therapy as I model a safe and empathetic setting for my couples to rebuild connection and help them get back on the same team. During our work together, I help you get “unstuck” from the dance that leaves you feeling alone to having a thriving and meaningful relationship with your partner.
